House Rules

A player must agree to the rules posted at this site, and acceptance of a seat in any game at SkillRide will constitute an understanding of the rules contained herein. Failure to abide by the rules posted will result in corrective action to be taken by management, and may include disqualification and/or suspension of playing privileges.

In cases where disputes arise between players, judgments by management are final, binding and conclusive in all matters.

SkillRide is not responsible for any claims for losses or damages under any condition. Online players are playing against each other for fun, tokens and bragging rights with no monetary implication.

  • Individuals are permitted to have only one registered account.
  • SkillRide Nicknames - Nicknames are the means of identifying players in the virtual cardroom; therefore, it is our policy to limit the frequency of nickname changes. SkillRide will not allow nicknames that may be offensive to other players and we reserve the right to change inappropriate choices, or those that closely resemble others already in use.
  • Chat Language - SkillRide's chat policies strive to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable environment for all players. Only subscribers and trial subscribers have chat privileges but non-subscribers can play at the tables. Management will suspend or revoke chat privileges to persons who are abusive, foul or disrepectful to other players. Chat suspensions are normally for a minimum of 30 days however suspended players may regain chat privileges at management's discretion. Players who have had their chat revoked for an indeterminate time frame will be considered by management for restoration of chat on a case-by-case basis.

    Chat Rules & Policies

    • Abusive or offensive language will not be tolerated at SkillRide.
    • Players should refrain from making intimidating or offensive remarks to any other online poker player through the chat line.
    • Chat is to be conducted in English only
    • Do not voice accusations or otherwise engage in a 'shouting match' with other online poker players at the table.
  • Collusion - We expect our players to play their poker hands individually without any assistance from anyone else. Sharing information about a poker hand with another player privately before a pot is awarded is a form of cheating called "collusion." Any form of play that is deemed unethical such as favoring one player to win a pot is prohibited and may result in seizure of play tokens and/or account closure.
